Nevaeh and Harrison using maths in play

I was really pleased to spot Harrison and Nevaeh experimenting with none standard measures during chook sing time this week. This is one of our Early Learning Goals.

Well done Nevaeh and Harrison

Shape Space and Measure
Early Learning Goal
Children use everyday language to talk about size, weight, capacity, position, distance, time and money to compare quantities and objects and to solve problems. They recognise, create and describe patterns. They explore characteristics of everyday objects and shapes and use mathematical language to describe them.

If you would like any more information about the goals your child is aiming for don’t hesitate to ask us.
