Being persuasive

This week we have been reading the story Smelly Socks by Robert Munsch. We have been thinking about why it is important to wash our clothes and why they get smelly. I was pretending to be Tina from our story. She was a girl who wouldn’t change her favourite socks and they became very smelly and dirty. The children worked in groups to think about how to persuade me to wash my socks. Here are Zayan and Leighton persuading me to change my socks.

Have you got a favourite thing that you don’t like to be taken away to be washed?

Why do you think it is important to have things washed?
